Principals’ Institute
Our two-day Principals’ Institute focuses on supporting principals in schools implementing the Investigations in Number, Data, and Space® curriculum.
Participants:- learn about the content of Investigations
- do mathematics together, including Ten Minute Math and Routines
- visit several classroom sessions via video and plan for classroom observation
- examine change and its effect on implementation
- focus on support structures for their teachers, parents and the community
- explore assessment in Investigations and in their own school/district
This two-day Institute familiarizes participants with the mathematics content of Investigations. It focuses on principals’ roles as supporters of the implementation of the curriculum in their schools: leader, change agent, listener, observer, and evaluator.
Cost
For up to 25 principals, $10,000. Additional principals: $400 each.
